Virtual Visits

Introducing Virtual Telehealth Visits* from Union Medical Group.

The current COVID-19 pandemic has temporarily changed the delivery of many healthcare services. To allow you to continue your care, Union Health is now able to offer telehealth visits. Virtual healthcare takes place between a patient and their health care provider using communication technology.

Here’s How It Works:

The patient would simply call their provider or specialty office and schedule an appointment. Instead of coming in for a face-to-face visit, the patient now has the option to download ‘Zoom’ (a remote conferencing service). The provider and patient would then continue with their appointment as a telehealth visit. You will be able to see and speak directly with your physician or provider, from any location for continued care.

What You Need:

  • Computer, Smartphone (Apple or Android) or Tablet (Kindles will not work for virtual visits.)
  • Internet and a personal e-mail

Benefits:

• Continue your care from your home.
• Decrease the spread of COVID-19 by social distancing.
• Ease of access with reduced exposure for you and medical staff.

*Essential in-person office visits available when appropriate. And while virtual visits may not work for everyone, we want you to know you will still receive the care you need.

Virtual visits can be billed as a normal office visit.

Other virtual visit options may be available.
